This website has no cookies, no analytics, no tracking and no forms. This page says which data still moves when you visit it or write to us, and which data our own Google API app uses.
Who is responsible
The controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the person named in the Impressum. You can reach us at [email protected].

Hosting
Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) hosts this website on Cloudflare Pages. To send a page to your browser and to protect the site against attacks, Cloudflare processes your IP address, the time of the request, the address of the page, and the browser and device data that your browser sends. We do not see this data, and we do not use Cloudflare Web Analytics.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our interest in a safe, working website). Cloudflare can process data in the USA. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Details: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Cookies and tracking
We set no cookies and use no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. The fonts come from this website, not from a font service.
YouTube thumbnails and links
The home page shows the preview images of our latest videos. Your browser loads them from i.ytimg.com, a server of Google. Google receives your IP address and browser data when the images load. Our page sends no referrer with these requests. We do not embed the YouTube player, so no YouTube video plays on this website and YouTube sets no cookies here.
When you click a video or a channel link, you go to youtube.com. From there, the Google privacy policy applies.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our interest in showing our videos). Google can process data in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Writing to us
When you send an email to us, we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and the content of your message. We use this data only to answer you and to keep a record of the conversation. Our mailbox is hosted by Google Workspace (Google Ireland Ltd., Dublin, Ireland). We delete messages when we no longer need them, unless a law obliges us to keep them.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR when your message is about a contract or a possible contract (for example a footage licence), otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our interest in answering you).
Padel Cut tools (Google API app)
“Padel Cut tools” is the name of our own app in Google Cloud. Only Padel Cut uses it. It is not a public product: nobody else signs in to it, and it does not collect data from the visitors of this website or from YouTube viewers. Our own scripts use it to manage the Padel Cut YouTube channel and the Padel Cut mailbox.
YouTube data
The app has access only to the Padel Cut channel (youtube.com/@padel-cut). It requests these permissions:
youtube- Read and change our channel: video titles, descriptions, tags, playlists, banner and channel settings.
youtube.upload- Upload our videos and their thumbnails.
youtube.force-ssl- Manage captions, and read and answer the comments on our videos. Comments are public and show the commenter’s YouTube name.
yt-analytics.readonly- Read our channel reports: views, watch time, traffic sources and audience retention. YouTube gives these as totals and shares; they do not identify single viewers.
Gmail data
The app can have access to the Padel Cut mailbox on padel-cut.com, and to no other mailbox. Our scripts read incoming messages and replies, sort them with labels, and prepare draft answers. A person reads and approves every email before it is sent. This includes the names, email addresses and messages of the people who write to us.
How we handle this data
- We use the data only to run our own channel and mailbox: publish videos, keep metadata correct, answer comments and emails, and measure which videos work.
- We do not sell the data, and we do not share it with anyone, except service providers that process it on our behalf to do the tasks above (for example an AI assistant that drafts a reply or summarises a report).
- We do not use the data for advertising, and we do not use it to develop, improve or train generalised AI or machine-learning models.
- The access tokens are stored encrypted in a secrets manager, not in code or files. Reports and exports stay in our private project files.
- You can see and remove the access of the app at any time in your Google account under Security › Third-party apps with account access.
Padel Cut tools’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data (Art. 15), to correct it (Art. 16), to have it deleted (Art. 17), to restrict its processing (Art. 18), to data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) (Art. 21). Write to [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU country where you live or work.
Changes
